How To Takeover The First Page Of Google

The Famous Efusjon Review

Instead of giving you a cheap ‘I’m the guru’ explanation, I want to actually SHOW you how I rank in Google, by getting one of my brand new videos to pop up in the first few results for a competitive search term.

So what I’m going to do is get listed in the top 2-3 results for “Efusjon Review” with my video, to prove my point.  As a side note, that search term is currently being competed for by 1.2 million websites, so if I can blow them by and get to the top, it will be quite the feate.  (I wanted to make this difficult.)  I know, I know, I’m brilliant.

Here’s the general principle of how this works:

Basically, Google looks for 2 things when they’re ranking a page; Relevancy and Popularity.  The relevancy is calculated based off of some complex secret Google formulas, simply put, they want to see if your content is related to the search.  The search engines don’t have an ability to index videos, so they sort and index videos by the brief descriptions that you see in all of the major video sites, like YouTube.

Popularity is easier to comprehend, and Google ranks how popular your website is by the following criteria:

1.  How many sites are linking to the piece of content? (i.e. the video, article, site, etc that you want listed on the top of Google)
2.  How important (i.e. ‘popular’) are the sites that link to the content?
3.  How much authority does the overall site have that the content is posted on?

So far, does this make sense to you?

So, now that my Efusjon Review is up on YouTube and has been spidered by Google, what I’m going to do is follow a 3 step process:

1.  First I’m going to broadcast my video to 10 or so different video sites using a free service called TubeMogul (Google it for details), and I’m going to point the link from the videos back to my original video on YouTube.
2.  Second, I’m going to broadcast this article (the one you’re reading) over a couple of hundred article directories, and each article will contain a link back to my video, and also my blog.  (See my ‘David Recommends’ on my blog for more details).
3.  I’m going to bookmark my video using ‘OnlyWire’ which is a free service if you have the button installed on your blog.  Google ‘OnlyWire’ for more information.

By the time that I’m done with my little process here, my video will have several hundred search engine backlinks, more so than any other similar video.  Google, along with the other search engines, will percieve these links as meaning the video has ‘popularity’ and it will rank it in the top page under that specific search term of ‘Efusjon Review.’

Am I a genius, or what?

…I really should charge you for this article, but you can do me the same favor by using the ‘OnlyWire.com’ button on my blog below to Digg this article and spread it across the other social networks that you’re a part of.  I hope you enjoyed this information, and that it helps you dominate your niche in the search engines.

Remember, it’s not what you do today, but what you do consistently for the next six months that will determine how popular your site becomes.  If you dominate one small niche per day, in a year you’ll have more than three hundred pages ranking in Google – how cool would that be?
